Everyone knows that a night out in Spain is one to remember. Here is everything you need to know about partying in Mallorca.
There are two main locations for a good party, Av. De Gabriel Roca in Palma, and the more well-known party city, Magaluf. From conversations with the locals, we found out that Magaluf was a major attractions for tourists. On the other hand, Palma was the location Spaniards went for a good night. Since we were looking for a more authentic experience on the island we did not travel to Magaluf. No regrets with this decision!
Magaluf
Magaluf is the place for the ultimate party scene. If you want to club hop, there is a wristband you can buy for entry to 5 clubs in one night. You will definitely get the club night you are looking for with huge venues and multiple options, but it comes at a greater cost and greater distance. You will likely be staying around Palma, which is around a 30 minute car ride to Magaluf or 45 minutes by transport. However, unless you have your own car, you’ll notice it’s not that easy to get a taxi all the way to Magaluf AND back. Most of the taxi services will operate within Palma. Outside of that area, no taxi man will pick you up. This is a huge reason we chose to stay in Palma.
Palma
Palma is the place if you are looking for a cheap night out with bar hopping. It was close to the airbnb, we had a way home, and overall a great time! You meet many Spaniards in this area, and the main type of music they play here is reggaeton. Bar hopping is encouraged! If you do not finish your drink but want to go to the next club, it is not a problem. Bouncers will pour your drink into a plastic cup and send you off with it outside! It was such a fun vibe! You will find yourself dancing until 5 in the morning.
Let me know in the comments about your experiences and if there’s anything I’ve missed!
